Jacksonville Makes It 11 Straight with 9-6 Win
The Jacksonville Nationals beat the Riverside Wolverines, 9-6, at Nationals Park. Dan Skiba went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and 3 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. The 18-year old second baseman was a menace to Riverside all day. Jacksonville reliever Zack Scott picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Roberto Lopez took the loss. The Nationals, now 18-2, have played well so far.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Skiba hit a fastball from Wu-sheng Su for a 3-run home run. The Nationals, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"What a buzz," said Skiba after it was over.
