Railey Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits
|
Tyler Railey was sizzling at the plate. The Crystal Lake first baseman blistered the Juneau Sled Dogs for 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but couldn't prevent his club from falling to defeat, 10-5.
"Railey was too tough to get out today," Sled Dogs skipper Jordan Nolasco said in a postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too. But hey, I don't mind if every game somebody gets 5 hits off us, as long as we win."
Tyler Railey hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
Posting a .420 batting average to date, Railey has 5 home runs and 17 RBIs.
