Streaking Earthquakes Win Another One, 6-3
Ft. Wayne pitcher Eric Ellington had a large part in his team beating the Sunrise Manor Sunchasers, 6-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The win was credited to 20-year old left-handed pitcher Ramiro Garcia in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Cortez Alavez took the loss. Danny Wilkinson finished the game for Ft. Wayne and earned his 1st save.

Ft. Wayne went up, 5-0, on Nick Cordova's 3rd home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which Cordova hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Sunrise Manor pitcher Cory Singer shaking his head.

"Eric is a tough competitor," said Ft. Wayne manager Du-sung Moon.

The Sunchasers, now 6-11, continue their sluggish start.
