Sled Dogs Win with Late Rally
Juneau beat Chuluota at Sled Dogs Ballpark, eking out a 6-5 win. The win was due in large part to left fielder Chris Norwood. He went 4 for 5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 3 and driving in 2. Juneau pitcher Juan Perez got the win, upping his record to 1-0. Roberto Morales got the loss. At 13-1, the 2026 Sled Dogs have been nearly flawless so far.

The decisive blow was delivered in the bottom of the tenth when Ben Towne hit a run-scoring double off 18-year old left-handed pitcher Roberto Morales to win the game for Juneau. The home crowd went wild.

"If we keep winning the close games," Norwood said, "we'll be in good shape at the end."
