The San Bernardino Flight and Chuluota Imperials obliged fans hoping for an exciting game.

The San Bernardino Flight turned back the Chuluota Imperials, 6-5, at Ballpark of San Bernardino. Ronald Poole, in particular, had a fine performance. He went 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times. Takashi Endo earned the save for San Bernardino, his 2nd of the year.

Kevin Hunt, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2024 draft, helped out the San Bernardino cause in the bottom of the eighth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the first baseman went 4-5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles.

"You've got to ride the highs and the lows in baseball in order to succeed," Hunt told the San Bernardino Observer. "Right now I'm feeling good, but that don't mean squat for tomorrow."
