Robinson Excels in 10-7 Sunrise Manor Win
Sunrise Manor and Haviland got after it at Field of the Sunchasers.

The Sunrise Manor Sunchasers topped the Haviland Thrashers, 10-7, with youngster David Robinson playing a key role. Robinson went 3-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Sunchasers in the win. Sunrise Manor reliever Eddie Carver picked up the win, raising his record to 2-0. Adam Noland was tagged with the loss.

Ryan Rosenson found himself in a pressure situation in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Haviland hurler Adam Noland, the 19-year-old catcher hit a sacrifice fly. His 4th RBI of the season put the Sunchasers on top, 7-6.

"Like I've always said, I'm the straw that stirs the drink," Rosenson said (again).

The victory makes Sunrise Manor 8-6.
