San Bernardino Wins, Carter hits 2 home runs
No one was more impactful than Gregg Carter in the 16-7 San Bernardino win over Tulsa. Carter, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2021 draft, belted 2 home runs. He drove in 7 runs and scored twice. Pat Higginbotham was the winning pitcher. Over 7 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 3 hits, with 1 walk and 13 strikeouts. Tulsa, now 2-12, has gotten off to a terrible start.

With San Bernardino leading 5-2 in the bottom of the fourth, Carter hit a splitter from Joe Taylor for a grand slam home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Flight ahead, 9-2.
