Pitcher Rafael Cruz was sensational for the Haviland Thrashers in his team's 6-1 triumph over the Sunrise Manor Sunchasers. Cruz earned the win. Danny Flores closed out the game, earning his 1st save. Sunrise Manor is 5-5 after the loss.

Jim Graves had a big run-scoring triple for the Thrashers in the bottom of the second inning. With Haviland leading 2-1 and a runner on 1st, he got a changeup from 20-year old right-handed pitcher Franklin Ramos and swatted a triple to left-center. It was his 3rd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Thrashers ahead, 3-1.

"Rafael had good arm action, good stuff," said Haviland manager .
