Moreno Helps Jacksonville Bombard Crystal Lake
Danny Moreno impressed in the 18-4 Jacksonville win over Crystal Lake. Moreno, who is tied for 7th in the SC in hits with 20, was 4-5 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 4 and driving in 2. The loss drops Crystal Lake to 5-6.

With Jacksonville leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fifth, Moreno hit a run-scoring single off Crystal Lake hurler Danny Montoya. It was the 20th hit of the season for Moreno and put his team ahead, 3-1.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Jacksonville manager Zack Glomski.
