Maeda, Griffins Too Much for Imperials
|
San Antonio third baseman Matsusuke Maeda had a 4-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Chuluota Imperials, 8-6. The win went to Cesar Ramirez in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Juan Rodriguez took the loss. Brian Rosen recorded the save for San Antonio, his 1st of the season.
In the top of the sixth, the Griffins grabbed the lead when Maeda hit his 2nd home run of the season. The grand slam home run off Juan Rodriguez made it 7-5, San Antonio.
"You can't hate how you win if you win," said San Antonio skipper James Beatty.
With the win, San Antonio lifts its record to 2-6.
