Sunrise Manor pitcher Dave Gonzalez had a large part in his team beating the Chuluota Imperials, 4-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Gonzalez got the win, improving to 1-0. He gave up 3 hits and walked 3 over 7.1 innings. He allowed 2 runs. Leo Najera picked up his 2nd save of the season.

Andre Howard helped out the Sunrise Manor cause in the top of the third inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the right fielder was 2 for 4 with 2 singles.
