The Chuluota Imperials beat the Tulsa Captains, 12-7, at Captains Ballpark. The Imperials got a fine performance from right fielder Robert Salgado, who was 4-5 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 2. Chuluota reliever Huang Chai snagged the win, upping his record to 1-0. Scott Clary shouldered the loss. The win lifts Chuluota to a record of 5-4.

Chuluota used the hitting of Bobby Brenner to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a grand slam home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Imperials on top, 7-1. For the game, Brenner had 1 home run and 1 single in 6 at-bats.
