Wolverines Win at Sunrise Manor, 13-3
The Riverside Wolverines soundly defeated the Sunrise Manor Sunchasers, 13-3, at Field of the Sunchasers. Matt Blankenship let his bat do the talking. He went 4-5 with 4 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for Riverside. Gustavo Brito recorded the save, his 1st. The loss makes Sunrise Manor 3-3.

Alejandro Marinez had a big 2-run double for the Wolverines in the top of the third inning. With Riverside leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Cory Singer and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 3rd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Wolverines ahead, 3-0.

"We're stringing together some nice wins," said Riverside manager Matt Augustus.
