The Ft. Wayne Earthquakes beat the Chuluota Imperials by a score of 7-5. Ft. Wayne third baseman Francisco Mendez deserved the lion's share of the credit. Mendez was 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Earthquakes. Miguel Guzman snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-0 on the season. Willie Mendez suffered the loss. The loss makes Chuluota 0-7.
