4-1 Loss Extends Juneau Losing Streak
The Crystal Lake Killers beat the Juneau Sled Dogs, 4-1. Crystal Lake pitcher and Baní, Dominican Republic, native Miguel Estrada led the way. Crystal Lake reliever Davis Novoa snagged the win, upping his record to 1-1. Miguel Sagastume shouldered the loss. The save went to Matt Haskins, number 1 for him.

With two out in the bottom of the seventh, T.J. Herrera had a game-changing hit. The Killers left fielder slammed a 2-run single off Miguel Sagastume, making the score 2-1, Crystal Lake.

"Makes our job easier," said Herrera, "when our pitchers shut the opposition down."

The loss lowers the Juneau record to 0-7.
