Panthers Beaten, 6-2, by Jackpot

Todd Korn powered the Biloxi Jackpot to a win over the Buckeye Local Panthers. The final score was 6-2. The Biloxi right fielder was phenomenal. He stroked 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. Jose Sanches earned the win for Biloxi. He lasted 6.1 innings, allowing 2 runs on 1 hit, while striking out 6. With the win, he raised his record to 1-0. Jim Unknown picked up the save, his 1st.
Korn contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Biloxi in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 2-1, Korn took a fastball from Victor Aguilar and stroked the home run to right-center. His 1st home run of the season allowed the Jackpot to leap in front, 5-2.
"We had some nice at-bats at the right time," said Jackpot manager Steve Warzecha.
With the loss, Buckeye Local sinks to 0-3.
