Thrashers Pick Up 6-4 Win Against Riverside
The Haviland Thrashers launched their 2025 campaign with a victory over the Riverside Wolverines at Ballpark of Haviland. Haviland left fielder Mike Jackson was instrumental in the 6-4 win. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Edgar Ambrosio closed out the game, earning his 1st save.

Johnny Salazar helped out the Haviland cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the shortstop went 2-4 with a double.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Jackson.
