The Jacksonville Nationals downed the Sunrise Manor Sunchasers, 13-6, at Nationals Park. Matt Higgins led the way, going 1-for-2 for Jacksonville. Chris Kelley earned the save, his 1st. The Nationals, now 2-0, have played some good baseball in the early going.

Justin York had a big 2-run double for the Nationals in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Jacksonville trailing 2-1 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a fastball from 20-year old right-handed pitcher Cristofer Sanchez and swatted a double to center. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Nationals ahead, 3-2.

"We got the victory," said Higgins. "That's all that matters at the end of the day."
