5-Hit Barrage by Guerra
All game long, Mt. Vernon's Juan Guerra was rattling the walls at Mt. Vernon Grounds and banging out base hits against the South Pasadena Air Riders. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Cyclones had a win, 21-3.

Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 20-year-old center fielder said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this."

Juan Guerra singled in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Jorge Jacome in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Adam Downing in the 7th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Cortez Oyola in the 8th.

This year, Guerra is hitting .330, produced 85 RBIs and 28 home runs, scored 76 times and gotten on base at a .394 rate.
