Freese Helps Dollywood Take Division Series Game 1
The Dollywood Partons started the Division Series in dominant fashion, blowing out the visiting London Werewolves at Dolly Parton Ballpark by a score of 11-2 and securing an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Partons designated hitter Colby Freese had a standout performance. He was 3-5 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 and driving in 5.

A key moment came with no one out in the bottom of the first. That's when Freese hit a screwball from Jim Autore for a 2-run triple, putting Dollywood up, 2-0.

"We're one game closer to our goal," Dollywood manager Adam Freeman said later. "It isn't any more complicated than that."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Dolly Parton Ballpark in Pigeon Forge.
