Anaheim Gets 6-5 Win Against Shamrocks
The Anaheim Music beat the Sikeston Shamrocks, 6-5, in part because of shortstop Adrian Hopkins. He went 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The save was credited to Jesus Gonzalez, his 9th. Anaheim sits in 4th place in the Sub League 2 Central Division at 61-78.

Hopkins had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 1-0 cutter from Miguel Suarez, he banged a 3-run home run to center, giving the Music a 6-4 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Hopkins.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Hopkins told the Anaheim Citizen.
