The bat of Karl Aitcheson helped the Wichita Panthers top the Montgomery Missions, 11-5. Aitcheson went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 4 for Wichita. The Panthers are now 67-68.

With Wichita leading 4-3 in the top of the sixth, Aitcheson hit a 2-run single off Montgomery hurler Willie Gonzales. It was the 109th hit of the season for Aitcheson and put his team ahead, 6-3.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Aitcheson told the Wichita Bulletin.
