Wranglers Handed 7-5 Loss
The Ontario Sunrays knocked off the Newport News Wranglers, 7-5, at Sunrays Field. Luis Andujar was a big reason Ontario won. The catcher was 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The winner in relief was Willie Salcedo. The right-hander allowed 3 runs on 2 hits in 3.1 innings. He now owns a record of 1-0. Drew Martin closed the door for Ontario, picking up his 1st save of the year.

Andujar had a big at-bat with a runner on 2nd in the bottom of the third inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Sunrays went on to win.

"Very pleased with the effort on our side," said Andujar.

The triumph makes Ontario 31-81.
