Sikeston designated hitter Matt Willis helped his team beat the Savannah Alpines, 15-4. Willis went 2 for 4 for the Shamrocks. The Shamrocks move to 56-76 with the win, while the Alpines drop to 66-66.

Regardless of the outcome, those who came to Shamrocks Park for the Sub League 2 contest enjoyed being there.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Willis said.
