Tight Tilt Goes to Missions, 4-3
In a close game at Missions Grove, the Montgomery Missions edged the Ontario Sunrays, 4-3. Montgomery designated hitter Zack Ross stood apart with his performance. He went 1-1 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Jeff O'Donovan got the save, the 26th for him this season. At 49-85, the Missions claim last place in the Sub League 2 East Division.

Ross had a timely hit for Montgomery in the bottom of the seventh. With Montgomery trailing 3-1, he turned a 2-1 sinker into a 3-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season, making it 4-3, Montgomery.

"Time to decompress after a tough win," said Ross.
