O'Connor Leads Miners to 4-2 Win Over Super Troopers
Boosted by the 3-hit performance of Tim O'Connor the Carson City Miners defeated the Santa Barbara Super Troopers, 4-2. Lorenzo Guerrero earned the save, his 1st in 1 tries. Carson City is now 65-69, Santa Barbara 104-30.

O'Connor had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a first pitch fastball from Isaiah Timmons, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Miners a 4-2 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for O'Connor.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Carson City manager Nate West. "It's usually not just one thing."
