Thanks in large part to pinch hitter Joe Knight, the Niskayuna Fighting Knights beat the Anaheim Music, 10-5. Knight was 1-1 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. After today's action, Niskayuna sits at 61-69, while Anaheim falls to 49-81.

Niskayuna used the timely hitting of Pedro Rodriguez to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Fighting Knights on top, 7-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"It was a good night for them and a bad night for us," said Anaheim manager Ed Arroyo.
