Super Troopers Win, 7-4, at Sikeston
Ryan Laycock had a good game, but he could not keep the Sikeston Shamrocks from falling, 7-4, to the Santa Barbara Super Troopers at Shamrocks Park. The Sikeston first baseman was 2 for 3 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 in the loss. Steve Albrecht earned his 26th save, after closing out the game. The Super Troopers improved to a lofty 98-29.

Santa Barbara used a well-timed hit by Eric Propper to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Super Troopers ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Propper.
