Gentry Silences Newport News Bats

In a low-scoring game between Montgomery and Newport News, pitcher Mike Gentry was excellent. The Montgomery right-hander helped his team knock off the Wranglers, 3-0. Lee Davidson recorded his 4th save for Montgomery. The Sub League 2 East Division-leading Missions are 76-47.
Montgomery starter Mike Gentry was exceptional. The 6-foot-2 right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 8 innings of work.
