Antonio Corona, who is tied for 5th in the SL2 in complete games with 1, propelled his team to victory over the Mt. Vernon Cyclones. The final score was 5-4, Sikeston. Justin Allen, 1-1, earned the win in relief. He allowed 2 runs on 4 hits in 1.2 innings. The Shamrocks go to 71-52, putting them second in the Sub League 2 Central Division.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Sikeston pinch hitter Steve Benitez, facing Mike Driskell, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Shamrocks the 5-4 win.
