Green Knights Lose By a Run at Wichita
In a low-scoring contest between the Wichita Panthers and the Spring Park Green Knights, Chris Brown, who leads the SL2 with a 9.9 K/9 rate, proved to be the difference. The Wichita left-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-2 Panthers win. Zack Scott was credited with the save for Wichita, his 10th of the season. The Panthers move to 63-62 with the win, while the Green Knights drop to 46-79.

In the bottom of the first inning, designated hitter Kyle Marin had a 3-run home run for Wichita. It was his 9th home run of the season and put the Panthers on top, 3-0.

Brown called the win "a lesson in teamwork."
