The Niskayuna Fighting Knights defeated the Santa Barbara Super Troopers, 5-3. Doing his part was right fielder Nate Fard, who went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Art Cohen wrapped it up, recording his 14th save. The 'W' lifts Niskayuna's record to 63-58.

Niskayuna took the lead in the bottom of the fifth when Fard hit a 3-run home run. His 7th home run of the season made the score 3-2, Niskayuna.

"If it's down the middle," said Fard, "you might as well hit it."
