Montgomery Missions starter Willie Gonzales was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Carson City Miners, 6-2. Montgomery reliever Willie Gonzales picked up the win. Jon Ramirez took the loss for Carson City. Miguel Crespo earned his 3rd save in 3 tries.

Montgomery catcher J.R. Chambers contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 69th hit of the season and put the Missions ahead, 4-2.
