Jones Delivers Walk-Off Win for Music
Despite a great performance by Wichita first baseman Bobby Sidener, the Anaheim Music defeated the Panthers by the score of 5-4 at Music Grove. Sidener was 2 for 3 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 runs. Edwin Martinez earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.2 innings. His record is now 6-4. The Music sit in last place in the Sub League 2 Central Division with a record of 44-77.

Up to bat in the bottom of the ninth, 21-year old left fielder Chance Jones had a chance to be the hero. Wichita pitcher Jim Unknown wanted to foil that plan. But with two outs, Jones drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Music had themselves a thrilling win.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Wichita manager Ross Meister. "But we decided not to take it."
