Music Tuck Away 5-2 Win Over Wichita
|
The Anaheim Music scooped up a win at Music Grove, dumping the Wichita Panthers, 5-2. Lorenzo Barrios was essential to his team's success. The Anaheim win streak is now 3 games.
Chris Ortiz had a big 2-run home run for the Music in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Anaheim leading 2-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from Satoshi Nishiyama and swatted a home run to right. It was his 9th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Music ahead, 4-0.
Anaheim manager Ed Arroyo was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard, they played all the way through," he said.
