The Niskayuna Fighting Knights beat the Sikeston Shamrocks, 3-0, at Fighting Knights Field. Starting pitcher Gil Carroll was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. Carroll, now 4-1, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 5, walking 0, and allowing no runs. Doug DeBauche closed the door for Niskayuna, picking up his 3rd save of the year.
