Cyclones Mow Down Fighting Knights, 10-2
The Mt. Vernon Cyclones used an offensive barrage to beat the Niskayuna Fighting Knights, 10-2, at Fighting Knights Field. Brad Reynolds led the way, going 3-for-4 for Mt. Vernon. At 52-46, Mt. Vernon is in second place in the Sub League 2 East Division.

Mt. Vernon relied on the hitting of Joseph Morgan to pick up the win. The left fielder ripped a 2-run triple in the top of the first inning to put the Cyclones on top, 4-0. For the game, Morgan had 1 triple and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.

Niskayuna manager Gabe Ludwigsen called the blowout loss "not what we wanted."
