A 4-RBI performance from first baseman Mikkel Goldbaek, who leads the SL2 in extra base hits with 68, led the Wichita Panthers to a win over the Sikeston Shamrocks, 12-6. The Shamrocks, at 49-68, have lost 10 straight games.

Goldbaek contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Wichita in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 1-0, Goldbaek took a slider from Alexis Jaimes and stroked the home run to left. His 34th home run of the season allowed the Panthers to leap in front, 3-1.

"Losing puts me in a bad mood," said Sikeston manager William Antczak. "And right now nobody wants to be around me."
