The Anaheim Music beat the Savannah Alpines, 5-3, at Alpines Stadium. Anaheim right fielder Manny Cordon had an outstanding performance. He went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Joe Lilley earned the save for Anaheim, his 5th. The triumph makes Anaheim 41-77.

With Anaheim leading 1-0 in the top of the fourth, Cordon hit a cutter from Juan Soto for a grand slam home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Music ahead, 5-0.

"We ground out the win," said Cordon. "That's all that matters."
