Montgomery Gets 9-5 Win
The Montgomery Missions bested the Niskayuna Fighting Knights, 9-5, at Fighting Knights Field. Kyle Hirsch was one of the standouts. He was 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk, while scoring 3 times. Danny Peralta was credited with the save for Montgomery, his 2nd of the season. The first-place Missions have their sights set on making a deep playoff run.

The Missions took the lead, 4-1, in the top of the second inning. Facing Niskayuna hurler Ricky Flores with two outs, Paul Marks hit a run-scoring single.

"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said Marks. "You've got to get results."
