Missions right fielder Don Hutchison left his mark on his team's 5-4 win over the Niskayuna Fighting Knights. Hutchison, who is tied for 10th in the SL2 in hits with 102, went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for Montgomery in the contest. Sherman Ayala recorded the save, his 8th. Montgomery is now 47-41.

Had Hutchison not come through in the bottom of the seventh, who knows how the game would've ended? But with two down, Hutchison hit a run-scoring single. The Missions took the lead, 5-4, and never looked back.

Montgomery manager Hoa Nguyen-Dinh was pleased with the team's effort. "It was just a good, gutsy performance by everybody," he said.
