Slagle hits 3 home runs in Ontario Win
The Ontario Sunrays topped the Niskayuna Fighting Knights, 8-6, with first baseman Trent Slagle playing a big role. Slagle slugged 3 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored three times for the Sunrays in the win. The 4th-place Sunrays now sit at 42-68.

Daniel Mikel hit a run-scoring double off Juan Bravo in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Sunrays in front, 5-4. In addition to the double, Mikel had 1 single, while going 2 for 5.

"We ground out the win," said Slagle. "That's all that matters."
