Cyclones Pull Off Thrilling 5-3 Win in Extras
The Mt. Vernon Cyclones handed the Ontario Sunrays an extra-inning, 5-3 defeat at Sunrays Field. Shortstop Lorenzo Torres starred for Mt. Vernon. He went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Mt. Vernon is now 57-49.

Had Torres not come through in the top of the tenth, who knows how the game would've ended? But with two down, Torres hit a 2-run single. The Cyclones took the lead, 5-3, and never looked back.

"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said Torres.
