Alpines Best Green Knights in Pitching Duel
In a tight affair between the Savannah Alpines and the Spring Park Green Knights, pitcher Antonio Velazquez was in the zone. The Savannah right-hander helped his team win the game, 2-0. Humberto Avalos came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.1 innings. His record now stands at 1-0. Jeff Eddins was credited with the save for Savannah, his 20th of the season.
