Starting pitcher Mike McManigle was a major factor in the 2-1 Santa Barbara Super Troopers triumph over the Ontario Sunrays. The Super Troopers have an impressive 82-22 record.

Jim Voci, who is rated as the 71st best prospect by BNN, had a direct impact on the outcome. Voci contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put Santa Barbara up, 2-0.
