The Sikeston Shamrocks pinned a convincing loss on the Anaheim Music, 10-3, at Shamrocks Park. Steve Amparan was a main factor in the win. He went 2 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 5 for Sikeston. Israel Parez got the win, improving to 4-0. He worked 5 innings, giving up 3 runs on 4 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 3. Picking up the save was Logan Barchard. He's now 1 for 1 in save chances.

Mark Crawford had a big 3-run home run for the Shamrocks in the bottom of the third inning. With Sikeston trailing 2-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a fastball from Lorenzo Barrios and swatted a home run to left. It was his 1st home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Shamrocks ahead, 3-2.

"We hit the ball on the barrel," said Sikeston manager William Antczak.

After today's action, Sikeston sits at 60-44, while Anaheim falls to 38-66.
