Beason belts 2 home runs in Wranglers Win
The timely hitting of Brian Beason helped the Newport News Wranglers down the Spring Park Green Knights, 6-4. Beason belted 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Wranglers. Alex Gonzales picked up the win with 5 innings of work. He allowed 4 runs on 8 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 2. On the season, he is now 7-3. The Wranglers improved their record to 63-39 by beating Spring Park.

Vic Colan, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2026 draft, helped out the Newport News cause in the top of the sixth inning with a 2-run double. For the game, the catcher went 2-5 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
