Super Troopers Rally Late to Nip Green Knights
Pitching was the name of the game in a tight contest between the Santa Barbara Super Troopers and the Spring Park Green Knights. Santa Barbara won it, 2-1, in 10 innings. Santa Barbara starter Brad Porter was in command. J.J. Mendenhall earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. He upped his record to 2-1. The victory gives the Super Troopers a record of 64-35.

Santa Barbara got a clutch hit from Jordan McPherson. The left fielder launched a solo home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.

"Games like this is what baseball's all about," said Super Troopers manager Tyler Haskin.
