Fighting Knights Make It 4 Straight with 5-4 Win
|
The Niskayuna Fighting Knights overcame a good performance by Anaheim designated hitter Adrian Sosa to knock off Anaheim, 5-4, at Fighting Knights Field. Sosa was 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Niskayuna goes to 47-53, Anaheim to 46-54.
The Fighting Knights got a big at-bat from third baseman Noah Uchman. For the game, Uchman was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the second, with the bases loaded, he stroked a grand slam home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Niskayuna a 5-2 lead.
"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Uchman.
