Sikeston Shamrocks right-hander Israel Parez pitched a good game against the Newport News Wranglers at Wranglers Stadium, leading his team to victory, 7-3. The winner was Parez. He threw 7.0 innings of 5-hit ball. The loser was Sergio Romero. Sikeston is now 58-41.
