Missions Grove was the site of a competitive game between the Savannah Alpines and Montgomery Missions.

In the 5-3 Montgomery win over Savannah, the impact of David Henning was substantial. Henning went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Jeff O'Donovan picked up the save, his 11th.

Henning had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a first pitch fastball from Jaden Rodriguez, he banged a 2-run home run to left-center, giving the Missions a 5-3 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for Henning.

"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Henning.

The Missions raised their record to 65-36.
